Artwork Size: 12×18 inches
Archival Printing
I create all prints using high-quality archival dye-based inks. Specifically, I use a commercial-grade printer, which uses a combination of 8 dye-sublimation-based inks. Usually, you only find 4 inks on most household printers. So with the added inks, the printer has more accurate colors with a longer-lasting print lifespan than your standard home printer.
And I print the artwork on 100% acid-free, museum-grade fine art paper. If you're curious, I use the German brand Hahnemühle’s 285 g/m Fine Art Pearl paper. It's a heavyweight paper with a light texture. You can feel the etching in your hands if you rub across the surface. Either way, this paper combination is very similar to the paintings I create on canvas. And they look more like a painting than a basic print.
I then treat each print with a protective varnish. This varnish protects them from dust, airborne contamination, water, and UV damage. It also offers a 100% increase in fade resistance and increase the color vibrancy.
